JEWELRY TRENDS TO KNOW IN 2024

Jewelry is the ultimate enhancement to a great outfit. Including not only modern jewels and experimental silhouettes of quiet luxury, but also bold colors and maximalist jewelry, we’ve identified some of the major trends that will shape 2024. The list features new jewelry creations in the Art Deco style, earrings for each and every style, as well as pearls and cuff bracelets on the rise.

MISMATCHED EARRINGS

Simple earrings designed to be worn on a daily basis can sometimes feel boring and ordinary. To change things up, wear a different pair of earrings on each ear and you could be part of the new trend list for 2024. This year, luxury brands like Valentino, Schiaparelli, Fendi and Givenchy encourage us to embrace non-traditional jewelry styling techniques and wear mixed lengths and sizes of earrings. Take Givenchy’s Matthew Williams, who recommends pairing cuff earrings with pearl hoops. Schiaparell’s Daniel Roseberry, on the other hand, believes that you should not limit yourself to one style, but rather wear a combination of huge earrings that almost touch the collarbone, but are chosen from different collections.

CUFF BRACELETS
Cuff bracelets have been all over the runways for the past couple of seasons, and that basically means you could have them in your jewelry box for as soon as 2024. Gold and silver bracelets in maxi sizes, thick and thin, are a nod to the 80s. They can be worn on the wrist or closer to the elbow, depending on the volume of the bracelet. The cuff bracelet, one of the highlights of the spring/ summer collections at Chloe, Saint Laurent and Tory Burch, is likely to become a popular all-day accessory.

ART DECO
From painting to interior design and jewelry design, the Art Deco movement is a style of boundless creativity in all branches of the arts. Rings, necklaces and bracelets in gold, diamonds and onyx that look like they were made in 1920s Paris continue to grow in popularity. In 2024, Art Deco jewelry, a symbol of elegance, originality and passion for style, will also be available for all jewelry lovers who love simplicity. The exquisite pieces of such great brands as Boucheron and Chanel, which have been defining this style for years, are timeless and infinite testaments to perfection.

BODY J EWELRY
Wearable body jewelry was a visual manifestation of the same blaze of joy that accompanied the swimsuits and bikinis of the summer we left behind, and elevated our style even beyond. Whether for a
special event, a night out or to add a little extra flair to a basic look, these pieces of jewelry that have progressively evolved beyond the beach are a great way to express your unique style and personality. The new versions of these thin, textured pieces, which will be popular in 2024, allow you to combine office look with street style. It is now easier than ever to complete your desired look with stunningly crafted body chains from iconic brands such as Meri Krutzo, Mist Jewels and Kurshuni.

BUBBLE J EWELRY
Among the jewelry pieces that caught our eye big jewelry trends for 2023, have been abandoned at the shows were voluminous earrings, cuff bracelets, bubble necklaces, disco ball rings and earrings, pendants and even brooches. They all have one thing in common: they are big enough to be seen from afar. It could be the ‘bubble’ bracelets by Carolina Herrera or the drop earrings by Bottega Veneta. Large faux pearls, one of the Bottega Veneta this year in favor of simple pieces in gold or silver. These pieces are simple, with no unnecessary detailing, and embellishments are in smooth metal or plastic. For the more daring fashionistas, there are options such as the extravagant bubble pendant by Courrèges and the silver earrings by Tory Burch.
