ITÄ Fine Jewelry launched a campaıgn worldwıde dancers

Puerto Rico and Istanbul based fine jewelry designer launched a campaign to help dancers of color around the world.  20 year old Puerto Rican born professional ballerina Helga Paris Morales is campaign’s star and partner.

İTÄ Fine Jewelry announced it is partnering with Puerto Rican born ballerina Helga Paris-Morales to launch a campaign to raise awareness for and benefit Brown Girls Do Ballet, a global nonprofit that works to increase the number of dancers from underrepresented communities in ballet programs around the world.

The campaign, titled “Be Moved,” spotlights a selection of ITÄ pieces hand-picked by Paris-Morales, a 20-year-old professional dancer who choreographs and performs with the Washington Ballet. Each time one of her picks is sold, ITÄ will donate 5 percent of the proceeds directly to Brown Girls Do Ballet. The funds will support scholarships and resource initiatives for young girls of color around the world.

“Our pieces carry a great deal of meaning, culture and history, so we wanted the person behind them to embrace and commit to those values. Partnering with Helga was natural for us. Seeking inspiration during the lockdown and as a lover of dance, I followed Helga on social media and was struck by her versatility. Growing up as a dancer myself, I immediately connected to the strength of Helga’s emotion when she moves. She is an enchanting spirit, and as soon as we met her, she felt like a fit with our brand,” says Inesita Capó, co-founder and co-designer of İTÄ.

İTÄ is a fine jewelry brand based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Istanbul, Turkey. Co-founders, designers, and friends Inesita Capó, from Puerto Rico, and Äfet Burcu Salargil, from Turkey, met as undergraduates at Syracuse University.
