Four years ago, the collaboration between the French menswear house Berluti and the Hublot has given birth to a series of unique timepieces. These models are based on the legendary Venezia leather and its patina combined with the art of fusing materials – the Hublot Classic Fusion watch. For this new discovery, both houses went back to the drawing board, working hand-in-hand with Kris Van Assche, Berluti’s Creative Director to create a model first based on the iconic Big Bang Unico chronograph.

Taking advantage of the experience accumulated over the years of collaborations, the craftsmen used Venezia leather to create not only the strap, but also the dial. The dial of the watch is still trimmed with leather, which is enclosed between two sapphire crystals, but now a transparent window has appeared in its center, through which you can watch the work of the Unico MHUB1242 in-house movement with a 72-hour power reserve.

Berluti grained leather has a patina effect that perfectly highlights the different shades of brown. This patina has its own name – Cold Brown, it was created by Kris Van Assche based on archival images of Berluti.

The chronograph is released in a limited edition of 100 pieces in a wooden chest with a leather case.
