VOICES FROM THE HEART OF AFRICA: A MEETING OF IDEAS AND TESTIMONIES
Inside the Pianegonda Boutique, on April 3rd in Milan, an exclusive event took place to spark a reflection on the role of women in building a more equitable and conscious future. A unique opportunity to discover Amref’s work in supporting the health, talent, and independence of African women.
The evening featured three exceptional speakers who shared their transformative experiences, offering an authentic perspective on the lives of young girls in Kenya.
A moment of deep sharing, where the power of words became a tool for awareness. An invitation to recognize the value of listening and the weight of everyday choices: because even a small gesture can make a difference.
Three voices, three perspectives, one shared vision
Speakers of the event: Paola Magni, Silvia Negri and Beatrice Beleggia – three women united by the desire to tell and spread stories that leave a mark.
Paola Magni, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Amref Health Africa, shared her vision of the transformative power of education and science in the most vulnerable communities.
Silvia Negri, Founder of Negri Firman PR Agency Communication & Marketing, gave a moving testimony of her journey alongside the women of Kenya.
Beatrice Beleggia, CEO of Pianegonda, spoke about the brand’s commitment to combining creativity and social responsibility through the ALL ONE project.
Three different yet complementary perspectives, intertwined to give voice to the courage, strength, and hope of African women.
ALL ONE: the jewel that gives voice to women
On the occasion of the event, Pianegonda presented the ALL ONE project, launched last November and active until June, in collaboration with Amref.
A limited-edition necklace of 50 pieces, symbol of unity, strength, and resilience. A circle that encloses harmony, interwoven lines representing mutual support, and a black onyx at the center as a symbol of the resilience of the most vulnerable communities.
All proceeds from sales, entirely donated to Amref, will be used to support female empowerment projects, aiming to enable every woman to fully express her potential. Specifically, the funds will help protect 500 girls in Kenya, offering them the opportunity to study and grow in a safe environment, and in Italy will be used to combat gender-based violence, with a special focus on the education of younger generations.
