The rose – Christian Dior’s favorite flower is once again in the spotlight of Victoire de Castellane, creative director of the Dior jewelry line. The latest novelties of the House from the Rose Dior Couture collection are no longer abstract, as in the jewelry of the Bois de Rose series, but realism. Dior invites you to take a look behind the scenes of its jewelry workshop and shares the chronicle of the creation of a new precious masterpiece.

Any jewelry begins with a sketch. The golden spiral of the petals resembles a naive, almost childish drawing. Then each of its elements is manually stamped and polished to be assembled into a three-dimensional flower. The final stage is the inlay of the edges of the bud with diamonds.

The shape of the ring, by the way, is borrowed from the Bois de Rose collection: the golden stem is decorated with “thorns” with precious stones.

Along with the premiere of Rose Dior Couture and Bois de Rose, the French house also announced the name of its new ambassador. The face of both collections is Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki, the star of Tenet and The Great Gatsby.
