Jewellery Antalya, organized for the fourth time this year by the Jewellery Exporters Association and bringing together the industry internationally, started with a record attendance. 80 Turkish jewellery companies participated with their products and services in Jewellery Antalya, which has become the most productive purchasing delegation event in the world jewellery industry. Jewellery Antalya broke the record by exceeding last year’s number of 1350 participants from 612 companies from 65 countries.

Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, who attended the opening, visited the participating companies together with the President of the Jewellery Exporters’ Association, Burak Yakin, and the Board of Directors. Underlining that the difference between Jewellery Antalya and the fair in Istanbul is its efficiency, Jewellery Exporters’ Association President Burak Yakin said; “Antalya is magnificent, its weather, nature and sun make the purchasing committees who attend here happy. 15 buyers per stand came to our purchasing delegation event, where we could accept a limited number of companies; This is much higher than the fair statistics. We can communicate more effectively with our buyers in a comfortable environment. This increases our effectiveness. Our recruitment committee event in January last year energized us throughout the year. This year, it will strengthen the impact of our national participation in both our April and October fairs and major fairs abroad. The jewellery companies that participated in Jewellery Antalya, which was held at Kaya Palazzo in Antalya between 5-8 January, showed superior performance in the tough global competition and we were proud of each of them.” he said.
