FROM GEOMETRIC FORMS TO LACONIC ACCESSORIES – CRESCIONI

Crescioni is a collection of handmade accessories designed by Andria Crescioni. The pieces are influenced by traditional craft techniques and blend Andria’s understated and earthy simplicity. Crescioni accessories take cues from the past, yet are refined for the modern woman.

Using all possible resources such as batik and hand-woven leather, Crescioni created a series of accessories that hit her 2011 graduation collection. This success prompted the designer to shift attention from clothing to jewelry.

The corporate style has changed little since then – Crescioni prefers to work with laconic geometric forms, creating all the jewelry by hand without any machine labor. As a base – metal plates, which the girl then wraps with pieces of leather. The designer has adapted this technique to other materials, the jewelry of which is shown in the new collection.
