For Dior, gold has always been one of the main sources of inspiration and even a talisman. Like Dior himself, other creative directors of the French brand have used this element in their collections.

In the spring of 2021, Maria Grazia Chiuri also turns to gold as the main source of inspiration for Dior Gold capsule collection. In this the creative director of the French brand reimagines recognizable elements of the House, such as tulle and silk dresses, skirts made of fine multi-colored mesh, knitted suits with lurex and accessories.

The designer has embroidered the iconic Dior Book Tote, Saddle, Caro and Lady Dior bags with gold threads, as well as placed gold details on the J’Adior pumps and sandals with steady heels.
