De Beers sculptural engagement rıngs made by ındependent desıgners

Diamond giant De Beers Group and Blue Nile unveiled a new project. The brand has unveiled a collection of ten engagement rings, created in collaboration with ten independent jewelry designers. The participating designers and their brands are: Almasika by Catherine Sarr, Aurora Lopez Mejia, Bea Bongiasca, Harwell Godfrey by Lauren Harwell Godfrey, Lola Fenhirst, Marla Aaron, Michelle Fantaci, Platt Boutique by Natasha Platt, Pamela Love and WWake by Wing Yau.

The global diamond producer has challenged 10 independent fine jewelry designers to create a “reimagined” engagement ring, using sustainably sourced, natural diamonds from Botswana. Each ring design will feature a diamond smaller than 1 ct. that was mined, cut, and polished in Botswana and that bears the inscription “Botswana Ten/Ten.” Prices for styles will be accessible, primarily between $3,000–$4,000.

For inspiration before starting work, De Beers gave each of the project participants one of the diamonds mined in Botswana in compliance with all ethical standards.
