Bulgarı has created a show-stoppıng tıara to celebrate the Queen’s Platınum Jubılee

Bulgari is celebrating the Queen in the most luxurious way, with a special exclusive edition tiara and watch.

To mark the Platinum Jubilee, the jewellery brand has created the Jubilee Emerald Garden high jewellery tiara, which took more than 1,500 hours to create. The special piece is adorned with emeralds and diamonds, which are set in platinum, to represent the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The emerald itself is very special – a 63.44-carat Zambian stone, carved with a blooming lotus flower.

“This high jewellery creation represents a homage to celebrate the 70-year reign of Queen Elizabeth II,” explains Lucia Silvestri, high jewellery creative director at Bulgari. “I was inspired by the Queen, a strong and powerful woman, an icon of our times, and by her historic admiration of emeralds, to design a piece centred around this striking carved emerald, which showcases Bulgari’s mastery in craftsmanship and creativity.”

The tiara is completely transformable, allowing the buyer to wear it either as a headpiece or as a necklace.

The jeweller often focuses on versatility and creativity within its designs, with Nicola Bulgari, the brand’s vice president and direct descendant of the founder, explaining: “The same jewel should be worn both to a picnic and to a grand ball.”

The tiara teases a wider collection for the brand, featuring outstanding emeralds, such as the matching Diva’s Dream high jewellery watch. Crafted from white gold, diamonds and set with eight Zambian emeralds cut into fan shapes, the watch took 1,000 hours of work to create.
