The second Istanbul meeting of the global jewelry industry in 2025 began on Wednesday, October 1st. Organized by Informa Markets and sponsored by Elmas Kule, the IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show officially opened its doors for the 58th time with the exhibiting more than 1,000 companies and brands from 15 countries. Taking place at the Istanbul Expo Center, the event showcases dazzling gold pieces, unique diamond designs, and the latest collections. In the special section called “IJS Tech – Machinery Hall,” visitors can also explore machinery, tools, and equipment used in jewelry processing and production.
Alongside the Designer Club, a special area dedicated to jewelry designers and craftsmen, the event also hosts the cultural and artistic program “Art for Jewellery: Inspiration Hub.” The IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show will be open to visitors until Saturday evening, October 4th.
Since 1986, IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show has been Türkiye’s largest jewelry industry exhibition and one of the top five jewelry fairs in the world. More than 21,000 professionals are expected to attend the 58th edition over four days. Each edition provides significant trade opportunities for its participants, and this year’s show will once again boost Türkiye’s jewelry exports, which closed 2024 at $7.48 billion.
Beyond presenting new products, designs, and collections, IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show inspires the future of the sector with traditional events held in cooperation with the Jewellery Exporters’ Association. As part of this, jewelry designers and master craftsmen from Türkiye and abroad are exhibiting their collections in the dedicated Designer Club area of the fair.
For the seventh year, the “Art for Jewellery: Inspiration Hub” brings cultural and artistic perspectives to the fair. On the opening day, seminars addressed topics such as “How to Use Instagram to Boost Your Jewellery Business” and “The Future of Sustainability in the Jewellery Industry.”
On Thursday, October 2nd, WGSN, the world’s leading trend forecasting company, will present the Spring & Summer 2026 Jewelry Trends Seminar. Two additional sessions will follow: “Inspiration, Art, Craft, and Strategy”—focusing on cross-disciplinary dialogues in jewelry and next-gen marketing strategies, and another panel discussing ways to engage younger generations in the jewelry world under the theme of “Growing the Future.” On Friday, October 3rd, the program continues with “Bright Ideas, Strong Alliances”.
