The Royal jewels: the most expensıve brooch of queen Elızabeth II

We think no one will argue that Queen Elizabeth is the main fan of brooches among royal persons. Almost none of her official exit is complete without this decoration. We decided to find out which brooch is the most expensive in the Queen’s collection.

The one of the most precious symbols of the Windsor dynasty is the Cullinan III & IV brooch. Made by Cullinan diamond this is the largest rough diamond in history, found at the beginning of the last century in South Africa. The stone was so large that it was difficult to make one piece of jewelry from it. The stone was divided into several diamonds, the largest of which were sent to the British crown. One of them, by the way, is the largest, literally became part of the crown of King Edward VIII.

The brooch, according to the number in the name, consists of the third and fourth largest diamonds obtained from the original diamond.
