Dior, under the leadership of Victoire de Castellane, launched the Gem Dior watch and jewelry line. The creative director of jewelry house decided to combine two important areas in the industry and experiment with shapes.

According to de Castellane, working on the collection was a real challenge for her and the atelier. The case and bracelet of each watch was inspired by the forms of mineral neoplasms in nature, in particular, rough tourmaline. That is why the watch gives the impression of being a treasure that has just been removed from soil or rocks.

The jewelry part of the collection deserves no less attention. Earrings, rings and bracelets are assembled from miniature blocks of different shapes from yellow, pink and white gold, repeating the shapes of natural textures. Microblocks can be encrusted with colorless medium-sized diamonds, or they can be supplemented with pieces of turquoise, malachite, lapis lazuli, carnelian, pink opal and tiger’s eye stone. In total the Gem Dior line, even the name of which flirts with the buyer so, “J’aime Dior”, includes seven watch models and eleven different jewels.
