Messıka Celebrates 20 Years Wıth a Hıgh Jewellery Show Durıng Parıs Fashıon Week

Messika unveiled its latest high jewellery collection, Terres d’Instinct – a radiant tribute to instinct, freedom, and the vibrant spirit of Southern Africa during Paris Fashion Week.

Held within the historic walls of the Palais du Louvre, the setting was as symbolic as it was spectacular. Known for championing applied arts and contemporary creation, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs perfectly mirrored Messika’s vision of blending heritage with modernity.

Infused with the warmth and energy of Africa’s landscapes, Terres d’Instinct pushed the boundaries of traditional jewellery craftsmanship. The pieces echoed raw power and fluid elegance, embodying the untamed yet refined essence that has come to define Valérie Messika’s work. To further the connection with the continent’s creative pulse, the show featured fashion collaborations with designers Feben and Vicnate – two rising voices shaping Africa’s design future.

The front row was a constellation of stars, including Vogue Arabia cover star Balqees, Carla Bruni, Eva Herzigova, Kiko Mizuhara, Simon Gong, Charlotte Lawrence, Ice Spice, Da-Mi Kim, Soohyuk Lee, Taylor Hill, Cindy Bruna, Paz Vega, Ishaan Khatter, Demi Lovato, and Erin Kellyman. Models – both established icons and fresh faces—brought the pieces to life, walking the runway with a sense of fierce grace before Valérie Messika herself joined them for an emotional final bow.

The evening opened with a soul-stirring performance by Senegalese legend Youssou N’Dour, setting a tone of cultural pride and unity. Later, Nigerian Afrobeats stars Davido and Omah Lay electrified the crowd at the after-party, before DJ Shivana kept the celebration alive deep into the night.
