MERIDIAN FAIR ANNOUNCED THE NIGERIA FAIR

MERIDIAN FAIR ANNOUNCED THE NIGERIA FAIR FOLLOWING THE SUCCESS OF THE FAIR IN ALGERIA.

1st Algerian International Jewelry and Jewelry machinery fair held between November 29th -December 2nd last year has attracted attention in the world with the participation of a total of 95 companies from 3 countries.

For the first time in its history, Jewelry and Jewelry machines fair was held in the country where the interest in the Fair was much higher than expected. Leading companies in the sector of Algeria, Italy, and Turkey came together at the fair and got the chance to present their latest fashion products and machines to the Algerian market at this fair, which took place for the first time. The Fair, which took place with a record number of exhibitors (70) from our country, was heavily attended by visitors. Due to the high demand following the successful organization, it was decided to hold the 2nd Algerian International Jewellery and Jewellery machinery fair in 2020. It is worth noting that the Fair, which will be held in Algeria, between 28-30 November 2020, will be much more interesting than last year and especially local participants are looking forward to participating in the Algerian fair.

While market researches of the sector continue, as a result of our new market research, we found that the Nigerian jewellery and jewellery machinery sector is very attractive. With a population of over 190 million, Nigeria is the most popular Trade Center in Africa and the future of the jewelry sector is very bright. In the context of production technologies and modern jewelry design, we think Nigeria has a lot to learn from Turkey. The future of the sector needs to increase competition in existing markets, decrease in labour, to move the sector towards new markets and to take bold steps to have a say in these markets.

Our Turkish producers have opportunities to meet the needs of Nigeria. It is important to provide these opportunities only at the right time and in the right place. The jewellery and jewellery machinery fair, which will be held on July 28-30, will be a new beginning between Nigeria and Turkey. For our companies researching for a new market, the Algerian and Nigerian fairs to be held in 2020 offer great business opportunities. We invite our companies who want to add customers from these two countries whose economies are developing to their existing customer portfolios to participate in our two fairs, which are full of surprises.
