French fashion house Louis Vuitton has expanded its smartwatch portfolio with the launch of the new Tambour Horizon Light Up. Unlike the last two generations of smartwatches in the lineup, the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon Light Up comes without the Google Wear operating system and instead runs on a custom-designed operating system. The smartwatch also displays an LED backlit dial ring for notifications. Horizon Light Up specifications include a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 SoC and a dedicated heart rate monitor.

The Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon Light Up starts at $ 3,300 for the polished steel option, while its matte black and matte brown models are priced at $ 3,600. Smartwatches are available for purchase worldwide from Louis Vuitton websites and retail stores.
