Julıa Roberts and Chopard Debut Haute Joaıllerıe Collectıon

The Chopard x Julia Roberts collection started with an incredibly rare 6,225 carat emerald that was discovered in a Zambian mine in 2021. Chopard acquired the stone and named it “Chopard Insofu”(“insofu” means elephant in Bemba, the language of the people living in the region).

“When I heard it was the biggest, I thought, that’s the only way Caroline rolls. She’s like, ‘If it’s not the biggest or the best, I’m not interested,’” Roberts joked at the exclusive dinner where the collection was viewed.

Roberts isn’t the only brand ambassador to turn her hand to jewellery design recently. Last year, K-Pop megastar and Bulgari ambassador Lisa added a special touch to one of the Roman house’s watches, while Cartier ambassador Timothée Chalamet co-created a candy-inspired necklace with the Parisian maison, which he wore on the red carpet during Wonka’s world premiere at Royal Festival Hall.

Scheufele said in a statement, “Collaborating with Julia on this capsule collection has been an incredible journey. From the moment we discovered the Insofu Emerald, we knew it was a gem that could inspire greatness. This parure is a testament to that inspiration, a fusion of our shared passion for beauty, elegance, and responsible luxury.”

Roberts wore all three designs with a white oversized button-down shirt, black tiered ruffle midi skirt and a black patent leather belt, all from the Carolina Herrera Fall Winter 2024 collection, at the dinner.
