Day 1 – Arrival to Bogotá

• Arrive at El Dorado International Airport.

• Private transfer to a luxury hotel in Bogotá.

• Welcome briefing on the 10-day emerald experience.

• Optional evening: welcome dinner.

Day 2 – Bogotá City Tour & Gold Museum

• Explore La Candelaria historic district and Plaza Bolívar.

• Visit the Gold Museum (Museo del Oro) to understand Colombia’s pre-Colombian gold and gem heritage.

• Visit the Emeral Museum – Fully dedicated to this beautifull gem

• Evening: emerald introduction session by Colonial Gemstones experts, covering mining, grading, and investment basics.

DAY 3/4 MUZO MINE

Underground Wonders: Discovering the

Secrets Inside Muzo Mine

• Private transfer to Muzo, Boyacá.

• Guided underground tour of Muzo emerald mines (safety permitting).

• Meet miners and learn traditional and modern mining techniques.

• Evening stay at a hotel near the mines.

DAY 5/6 CHIQUINQUIRÁ WAY

Chivor Mines Exploration

• Travel to Chivor (another legendary emerald mine).

• Guided mine tour and meet miners.

• Observe extraction methods, ethical practices, and mining operations.

• Afternoon: hands-on emerald handling and grading demonstration.

• Stay at a nearby hotel (1-Night).

DAY 7/8 GRADING

Return to Bogota – Gem Labs & Private Emerald Conference

• Return to Bogota with 1 or 2 quick stops in important small typical country towns

• Private tour of leading gemological labs in Bogotá: certification and grading processes.

• Hands-on demonstration of emerald testing and certification.

• Private conference: insights into Colombian emerald industry, market trends
