The 75th Cannes Film Festival will be held from 17 to 28 May in the resort town of Cannes at the Palais des Festivals and Congresses on the Croisette. In honor of the anniversary of the legendary event that brings together filmmakers from all over the world, Chopard, which has been a partner of the festival for 25 years, has created an extraordinary main award – the Palme d’Or.

In 2022, the director whose film the jury will resonate with will receive an Ethical Yellow Gold statuette with a Fairmined palm frond certification. It will shine brighter than usual: in honor of the double anniversary, the first of the leaves will sparkle with 75 diamonds, reminiscent of the age of the festival, and the second will light up with 25 gems, symbolizing a quarter of a century of partnership with Chopard.

In addition, the Palme d’Or will not be placed on a rock crystal, as in previous years, but on a rose quartz crystal, which is traditionally a symbol of love.
