Casıo Teams Up wıth C2H4 for a Scı-Fı Inspıred G-Shock Release
Following their highly successful 2025 collaboration on the GM-5600 “The Space Age,” Casio and Yixi Chen’s Los Angeles-based streetwear brand, C2H4, are joining forces once again. This time, the duo is putting a retro-futuristic spin on the popular GA-2100 analog-digital model, delivering a striking timepiece that perfectly captures mid-century technological optimism.
Operating under the motto “The future of design lies in the past,” the new GA-2100C2H426-8A leans heavily into a 1960s Space Age aesthetic. The watch features a sleek, see-through resin bezel and strap that immediately give it a sci-fi edge. Inside, the dial showcases a brushed silver finish achieved through vapor deposition, which lends a sharp, metallic gleam to the hands and hour markers. As a nod to classic retro-futurist architecture, the case back features an exclusive engraving of the iconic LAX Theme Building.
Fans of the previous C2H4 collaboration will be thrilled with the unboxing experience. The new watch is presented in a custom-designed, split-open capsule case. Finished in metallic silver and blue, this unique packaging looks exactly like a vintage time capsule, making it a highly desirable piece for collectors.
Despite its fashion-forward redesign, this timepiece is still a G-Shock at its core, meaning it compromises nothing on durability. The watch boasts the following standard GA-2100 utility features:
- Rugged Build: Signature shock protection and 200-meter water resistance.
- Global Timekeeping: World time covering 31 different time zones.
- Daily Utilities: A 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, and five separate daily alarms.
- Visibility & Tracking: A double LED Super Illuminator for low-light conditions and an automatic calendar accurate through the year 2099.
