Madonna announced her upcoming new album, Confessions on a Dance Floor Part 2 this week – and did so wearing some stunning jewellery.

Twenty years after Madonna headlined the festival herself, and performed songs from Confessions on a Dance Floor for the first time in the United States, the singer has announced that Part 2 is officially in the works – and will be dropping on July 3rd.

Clearing out her Instagram account and changing her biography to “Time goes by so slowly”, a lyric from Hung Up (which debuted on Confessions Part I in 2005), Madonna the released a new image of herself to celebrate the album’s release. In it, she wears a pair of aquamarine and diamond drop earrings by London-based jeweller, Hirsh.

Part of the maker’s ‘Regal’ line, the jewels feature 4.88 carats of detachable aquamarine drops and 0.60 carats of white diamonds, all set in 18K white gold.

The ‘Like a Prayer’ hitmaker has donned various glamorous accessories in the post, including a pair of diamond cross earrings and a large choker-style necklace from Swarovski, set with cascading octagon-cut clear crystals. On her wrist, Madonna sported a huge collection of friendship bracelets, including one that was strung with a small, gold cross charm.
