The Rouge Premıer case, a testament to the unparalleled artıstry of Dıor

The House launched Rouge Premier lipstick with a case that features bejewelled flowers in homage to Christian Dior’s love of the natural world. The case itself can then be transformed into the necklace with a variety of finishes.

Described as a “jewelled Eden” in a press statement, the case consists of Paraiba tourmalines, turquoises, and opals that “contrast and complement each other, invoking impressive goldsmithery,” Dior added.

They added: “The exclusive case takes the form of a marvellous spring garden, revisiting the iconic Dior jewellery collections.”

The lipstick meanwhile is made from an “ultra-precise formula” that combines extract of red hibiscus and jojoba oil. The lipstick palette is composed of 12 shades and, according to a statement, “embodies the idea of transmission and unique savoir-faire so dear to Dior.” They added: “The exclusive case takes the form of a marvellous spring garden, revisiting the iconic Dior jewellery collections.”

The statement continued: “Thanks to the formidable inventiveness of Victoire de Castellane, Artistic Director of Dior Jewellery, and Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, who have conceived an unprecedented and spectacular piece, this prodigious model has now been transformed into a veritable work of art.”
