Vinnie Ghatiwala is redefining how women experience jewellery with Mèroh, a brand that transforms everyday moments into opportunities for self-expression and confidence. Drawing from her experience building her husband’s family jewellery brand, Ghatiwala, Vinnie Ghatiwala created pieces that reflect personal style, practicality, and subtle luxury, pieces that women want to wear every day.

The idea for Mèroh came naturally. While curating statement jewellery for clients, Ms. Ghatiwala began selecting gemstones and designing pieces that felt uniquely hers. “Every couple of days people would look at these exquisitely designed pieces wrapped in simplicity and ask, ‘Can I have something like this? Can you make this for me, please?’ That was the birth of Mèroh,” she recalls.

The name “Mèroh,” meaning “mine” in a Rajasthani dialect, embodies the brand’s philosophy: ownership that extends beyond material value. It’s about women embracing their time, space, and confidence, whether at work, at brunch, or enjoying an evening at home.

Mèroh distinguishes itself through the use of semi-precious stones as daily companions rather than secondary alternatives to traditional gems. Green amethyst, purple amethyst, blue topaz, malachite, turquoise, and lapis lazuli are cut in shapes that follow the natural form of the metal, producing silhouettes unseen in other collections. The craftsmanship favors the material guiding the form, rather than forcing stones into predetermined settings.

Each collection tells its own story. In Hive, emeralds are set to evoke the feeling of a honeycomb, reflecting nature’s geometry without literal mimicry. Tiara explores memory and legacy, highlighting how mementos pass through generations while being claimed by individuals. Every piece is designed by a collaborative team, combining generations of expertise with a modern, intuitive approach.
