Marıe Antoınette’s dıamonds wıll auctıoned ın Geneva

Royal jewelry has retained the design and original diamonds since 1776. Christie’s has announced that the top lot for the Outstanding Jewelery auction, which will take place on November 9, 2021 at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva, will be a pair of 112 diamond bracelets owned by Queen Marie Antoinette of France.

Of all the jewelry that Marie Antoinette once owned, only these bracelets have been preserved in their original form.  Most of the other jewels were unpacked, and the stones were incorporated into very different decorations.
