“The Little Worlds” is a jewellery collection characterised by a uniform design that unites the entire product line. Each piece and series within the collection explores different themes, making every item distinct.

The jewellery pieces serve as canvases, with enamelling and other decorative techniques used to express a variety of ideas. The form of each piece is intended to be timeless and harmonious, providing a universal canvas that is also distinctive. The design ensures that the enamel work is showcased beautifully.

Following this concept, a form was created that is pebble-like, yet symmetrical and refined. The front oval is nearly circular, with a 1 to 1.1 proportion in the diameters, highlighting the human eye’s sensitivity to circular forms. This subtle difference is easily noticeable and intriguing.

The form is gently domed and mirrored on the back, creating an ideal shape for enamelling. These domed, rounded forms allow light to reflect through the enamels, enhancing their colours.

The initial form was meticulously hand-carved from hard steel to create a matrix and punch, enabling the pieces to be formed using the deep drawing technique (emboutissage profond). Hollow inside and supported by small arches, these pieces are complex to make. Each piece is handcrafted and decorated by the artist.
