Investment holding company Compass Diversified (CODI) acquired Lugano Diamonds & Jewelry Inc. in a deal worth $ 256 million.  Founded in 2004, Lugano Diamonds & Jewelry designs and manufactures unique high-end jewelry for its customers. The Newport Beach, California-based jeweler also partners with local organizations to host and sponsor over 100 equestrian, social, and charitable events.

Lugano currently has four retail showrooms for events.
