VAN CLEEF & ARPELS OPENS an EXHIBITION AT THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY IN PARIS

The name of the exhibition is translated as “Gems” and represents an amazing unity of science and art. The creators offer to plunge into the centuries-old history of minerals and trace their connection with human talents, which have been honed for centuries. The exhibition brings together over 500 minerals, gems and objets d’art from the National Museum of Natural History’s collections and more than 200 gems and jewelry creations from the Van Cleef & Arpels.

The guests of the exhibition will plunge into the origins of the Earth’s, learn about the latest discoveries in the field of mineralogy and get acquainted with the emotions and feelings that precious stones and jewelry evoked in people in different centuries.

Especially for the opening of the exhibition, Van Cleef & Arpels also presented a unique object – The Rocher aux merveilles. In there craftsmen combine raw minerals with nine high jewelery creations.
