Dolce & Gabbana showed new men’s collection in digital

While the world is slowly beginning to recover from the upheavals of 2020, Dolce & Gabbana is showing the Alta Sartoria collection in Florence.

The show was preceded by the presentation of the Alta Gioielleria high jewelry and watch collection, also an open exhibition created by Florentine craftsmen, who participated in the development of this collection. Their work will remain in the historical archive.

Dolce & Gabbana has offered cooperation to 38 Florentine artisans. Organza t-shirts with feathers were designed by Mazzanti Piume, coats by Antico Setificio Fiorentino and brooches, necklaces and crowns for jewelry.

A collection designed for men who want to be protagonists of the New Renaissance.

Previous Alta Sartoria shows were held in only the most memorable locations. Last year the brand held a demonstration near the Concord Temple in Sicily. This year, the venue was Palazzo Vecchio’s grand hall. It is one of the oldest buildings in Florence and is a symbol of the Renaissance. The collection itself received the life-affirming name Il Rinascimento e la Rinascita and marked the renaissance of the world after the lockdown period.
